## Licence check: printing the puzzle picture (read before ordering puzzles)

**Web use is covered. A printed jigsaw is probably not.**

- The [Unsplash License](https://unsplash.com/license) grants "an irrevocable, nonexclusive, worldwide copyright license to download, copy, modify, distribute, perform, and use images from Unsplash for free, including for commercial purposes". That covers this site and the game (board, tray, share card, the download on the pickup screen).
- Its restriction: "Images cannot be sold without significant modification." Unsplash's help centre ([Can I use Unsplash images as part of a product to sell?](https://help.unsplash.com/en/articles/2612317-can-i-use-unsplash-images-as-part-of-a-product-to-sell)) says Unsplash does not offer a licence for selling prints or products with the images printed on them. A jigsaw that is this photo printed and cut is exactly that kind of product, and being the prize of a paid game does not obviously change it.
- So before ordering printed puzzles: get written permission from the photographer (Laura Barry, @laurabarry on Unsplash), or print a picture Jigwalk owns outright (its own photo of the Dragon Bridge, or commissioned art). A licence reading, not legal advice.

The other photos (river, street cafe, carp) are only used on the web page and are not part of the puzzle.

## Map

`index.html` inlines the Han River outline from `app/public/site/walk.json`, which is derived from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Only the river, the Dragon Bridge crossing and the start point are drawn. The route line and the stop positions are deliberately not included anywhere in this directory.
